The Essex Federated Board (EFB) is seeking board members to work together and provide leadership to tackle the economic challenges faced by businesses. These challenges include access to skills, transport infrastructure, digital connectivity and commercial space availability. We are therefore keen to hear from individuals who are capable of representing businesses from across Essex and can help make a difference. We are seeking 8 new business board members, one of which to be the Chair and a further two Vice-Chairs.
Overview of the Essex Federated Board:
This EFB is a new federated board for Essex, bringing together the strengths of the Essex Employment and Skills Board and the Essex Business Board. The board acts as one of four federated board for the South East Local Enterprise Partnership. The EFB works proactively and collaboratively to drive economic growth and prosperity. This is achieved through promoting economic opportunities, lobbying government, using evidence for strategic planning and by setting clear objectives.
